No current-release benchmark is available here. Our September 3, 2026 idle measurement found Isle at 48–51 MB and Vibe Island 1.0.48 at 172 MB on the same Mac. That historical result does not establish the footprint of today's releases. Vibe Island currently advertises under 100 MB; measure both current versions with your sessions before deciding on memory.
Its current documentation offers broad agent and terminal coverage, SSH monitoring, multi-provider usage tracking and custom sounds without a cloud account. Its one-time licence is attractive if you only need interaction at the Mac. Check each agent's capabilities separately: monitoring, permission approval and question answering are different features.
