Pushary

Honest comparison

Vibe Island stops at your desk.
Pushary carries on without you.

Both put your agents in the Mac notch. Vibe Island keeps everything on one machine, which is a real privacy win and the reason it cannot follow you. Pushary Isle is the same notch, plus the phone, Slack, a policy engine and an audit trail.

The real question

If you work at one desk, want no account anywhere, and need SSH and quota tracking, Vibe Island is the better buy and it is cheaper. If a run that blocks while you are out is the thing costing you hours, the notch alone cannot fix it.

Pushary Isle is for you if:

  • You leave your desk while agents are still running
  • You want one decision answerable from the notch or the lock screen
  • You want per-tool rules authored once, not answered every time
  • You need an exportable record of who approved what
  • You care that it idles at 38 MB rather than 184 MB

Vibe Island is for you if:

  • You want nothing to leave your Mac, and no account at all
  • You run agents on remote servers over SSH
  • You want your Claude and Codex quota at a glance
  • You run agents we have not wired yet, out of their 26
  • You would rather pay $14.99 once than a monthly plan

Questions people ask

What is Vibe Island?

Vibe Island is a native macOS app that puts your AI coding agents in the MacBook notch, in the style of the iPhone's Dynamic Island. It monitors sessions, takes permission approvals, jumps to terminals, tracks quota and reaches agents over SSH. It is fully local by design: no cloud, no accounts, no telemetry, and a one-time $14.99 licence.

What is the real difference between Pushary Isle and Vibe Island?

Vibe Island keeps everything on one machine. That is a genuine privacy win and it is also its ceiling: with no account there is no second device, so the product stops the moment you stand up. Pushary Isle is one client of a decision that also reaches your phone, your browser and Slack, and answering in any of them withdraws it from the others. Vibe Island is a better notch. Pushary is a notch plus everywhere else you are.

Which one uses less memory?

Pushary Isle, by roughly five times. Measured with Apple's own footprint tool reading phys_footprint, which is the number Activity Monitor prints, with both apps installed on the same Mac, launched cold and left idle with no agent traffic across three rounds: Isle held 30 to 42 MB and Vibe Island held 184 to 211 MB, after peaking near 391 MB in its first two minutes. Vibe Island advertises 'under 100MB RAM' on its features and again in its pricing.

Where does Vibe Island win?

Four places, and they are real. It wires 26 agents to our 6. It reaches agents running over SSH on remote servers, which we do not do at all. It shows your remaining Claude, Codex, Kimi, GLM and DeepSeek quota. And it needs no account, so nothing about your setup leaves the machine. If those are what you need, buy it.

Is Pushary Isle a one-time purchase?

No. The app is free to download and runs on your Pushary plan, which starts at $9.99 a month after a 3 day trial. Vibe Island is $14.99 once. If you only want the notch, theirs is cheaper. The plan is what buys the phone approvals, the policy engine and the audit trail, which is a different product rather than a more expensive one.

Can I run both?

You can, but you probably should not have both installing hooks into the same agents. Pushary's disconnect strips only its own entries, so switching either way is clean. Pick one to own the hooks.

Put your agents in the notch, and keep them there when you leave.
