Mac app (Pushary Isle)
Install Pushary Isle, the Mac app. See your agents' questions in the notch, answer with one key, and let the same question reach your phone when you step away.
Pushary Isle is the Pushary app for Mac. When an agent stops to ask you something, the question shows up in your Mac's notch. You answer with one key and the agent keeps going.
It is included in every agent plan. See pricing for the plans, or the Mac app page for a quick look.
What you need
- macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.
- A Pushary account. New accounts start with a 3-day free trial.
- No notch? That is fine. On a Mac without one, Isle sits at the top of the screen.
Install
Download the app and drag it to Applications:

brew install --cask pushary/tap/pusharyBoth give you the same signed and notarised app. It checks for updates on its own.
First launch
- Sign in. Use your Pushary account, or create one.
- Start your trial. Three days free, then $9.99 a month. You finish checkout in your browser. If your account already has a plan or a trial, this step is skipped.
- Connect your agents. Isle finds the agents on your Mac and sets them up for you. You do not edit any config files. If Isle cannot set one up, it shows you one command to run.
- Pair your phone (optional). Isle shows a code. Scan it with your phone's camera. If you do not have the Pushary phone app yet, the link takes you to the store. You can skip this and pair later in Settings, under Account.
Agents it connects
Isle sets up these agents on its own:
- Claude Code
- Codex
- Cursor
- Gemini CLI
- VS Code
- OpenCode
- Hermes
Other agents connected through Pushary, for example over MCP, also show up in the notch.
Answer a question
When an agent needs you, the notch opens on its own and shows the question, what the agent wants to run, and why. It stays closed if you are already looking at that agent's terminal.
A notch that opens on its own does not take the keyboard, so you keep typing where you were. These shortcuts work from any app:

You can change them in Settings, under Shortcuts.
Once the notch has the keyboard (click it, or press ⌃⌘P), you can answer every kind of question:

Y or N on its own does nothing. Every key that answers a question needs ⌘, so typing in another app never answers a question by accident.
See every session
Open the notch to see all your agent sessions in one list. Each row shows the project, what the agent is doing, and whether it needs you. The most urgent session sits at the top.
Need more detail before you answer? Open the session's terminal from the notch, and Isle brings that terminal to the front. To land on the exact tab, turn on Jump to the Exact Terminal Tab in Settings, under General. It works in Terminal and iTerm2, and in Ghostty 1.3 or later by project folder. macOS asks for Automation permission the first time.
Step away from your Mac
Isle and your phone share the same questions. Answer on one, and the question closes on the other.
Where approvals go is set by your approval mode. You can change it in the notch, under Approvals:

Agents that run on your Mac need your Mac awake and online. If you quit Isle, the agent asks Pushary directly. In When I'm out and Every time, the approval goes to your paired phone. With no phone paired, the agent asks in its own prompt. Cursor file edits have no prompt of their own, so keep Isle open if you rely on them.
What it sends
To show your sessions and keep your Mac and phone in sync, Pushary receives your agents' activity: the sessions, the tools they run, the project folder, and the start of your prompt as a task title. It also receives each question, the context around it, and your answer. That context can include a command, a file path, or text your agent wrote.
